How do I increase my stock basis in an s corp
I own 100% shares in my s corp. My cpa put my stock basis at zero for 2008 taxes. I show a profit this year of $185 does this increase my stock basis to $185?
Is there any instructions on explaining this in plain English or video explaining this?
My cpa also stated that I made a loan to the s corp which states that "the principal amount of debt the s corp owes to shareholder at the end of year $1635" My company never paid this "loan" back to me. I didn't know this loan existed. How do I handle this?
Thanks for the help.
