sole proprietor partnership

my girlfriend and I both work in health care. we been traveling for our jobs, and we uesd to work with companies who find placement for us in different states and cities which are more the 50 miles or more away from out home base. we collect perdeim for all travel assignments and perdeim varied place to place.

now we are froming our partnership and we do not know what is more easier or better to file our taxes? is it better to file under w2 or better to do 1099?

the hospital are giving us the whole check with out any deduction for perdeim for any travel assignmet.

please help
